Hello guys.
I have completed my stroker build, with eta crank.
Engine was rebuilt with new seals/bearings, oringed block ground eta crank, e rods, modded 'i' pistons.
Anyways. Started. It is running great, all though i got one issue....
At high rpm's (circa 5k) if I suddenly cut the throttle (as in take my foot of the gas quickly and let the throttle slam shut), i get this vibration, hard to say where it comes from, but i thin kit's from tranny or somewhere towards the back of the car. vibration goes away as revs go down past about 4krpm.
There's no vibration if I just drive at high rpm's, accelerating (WOT) ot maintaining rpm's or decelerating (slowly closing the throttle). Aswell there's no vibratino under about 4k rpm.
Durning the build, i replaced following (only listing revelant drivetrain components): ccrank, clutch, new tranny mounts, old motormounts seem ok... that's it. I mean i undid driveshaft and stuff. guibo has some small cracks but generally looks ok. everything was working fine prior to taking it apart.... I'm unsure how to inspect Center support bearing...
one odd thing i noticed... as i think of it now... the new tranny mounts seem a bit shorter than ones i had in there... like few mm maybe... as in the end of the tranny sits a bit higher than it used to. aswell clearance to the shft linkage rod (i got custom short shift) is visually smaller because of that. it doesnt rub in any gear i checked, but as I said clearance there is dangerously small.. like 2mm or so...
tonight maybe i'll crawl under there and inspect what is to be instected there...
any heads up ?
