Diff Chatter while turning = Bad Diff?

I just installed a used 3.73 lsd in my car.

It is quiet when going straight, but the odd times when turning I hear some chatter.

I used 75w50(i think) Redline fluid which said it was good for LS.

Is this a sign that the diff(clutches?) is no good? I open'ed it up, it looked very clean inside, changed the seals, and installed it. From what i could tell it actually look better than the last one i had....but im no expert.

    Any suggestions?

EDIT: Actually i think it was 75w90, i have to double check when i get home.

Redline 75w90 has friction modifiers, 75w90NS doesn't. If the OP used Redline 75w90, chatter from the diff while turning might well mean a problem in the differential.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
