    Dual mass pics?

I'm new to the e30...and searched.

Does anyone have pics of the variety of clutch assemblies? Mine doesn't look like any examples I've seen on Pelican or the manuals.

I'm in the middle of a clutch replacement on my 85e. I purchased a Sachs clutch kit. When I pulled the old assembly I was surprised to find a very strange looking clutch disk. It has some sort of damper assembly surrounding the splines on both sides. The disk I received as the replacement looks like any conventional four spring disk.

Will what I have work? I don't want to put this beatch back together only to find it won't' work.

    Help?

    Thanks

The new clutch liiks like any conventional disk. It's the old one I'm wondering about...

According to my resident BMW expert there won't be a problem, but I wanted a second opinion.

Yeah, that odd looking damper in the middle there is odd. Never seen anything like it. I certainly am no expert on clutches, but I have seen quite a few, but nothing like that.
