    What diff should i choose??

Im looking forward to do a m50b25 swap soon but i cant decide what diff to go with.

over here they all say that 2.79 or 2.93 is the best and everything above is way too much.. but in here and over at e30tech.com i read about lots of guys goes with 3.25, 3.73 or hell even 4.10's... I want my car to pull as hard as possible.. but i dont want the mileage per litre gasoline to be too low.. also i dont want the engine reving to high at normal speeds causing the cooling system to heat up too much..

what diff would you prefer for a daily driver also being able to rev the f**k out of all the stoplights :D

I would say 3.25 or 3.46 max. I believe 3.25 is what comes in an e36 m3, so your engine shouldnt be at super high RPM on the highway.

^Like he said, depends on what tranny you are going to use.

Im going to use the ZF tranny that came with the engine...

I got my eyes on a 3.15 diff of a e28 524td.. that might be a good choise.. I talked to a dude going with a 3.64 and he would'nt recommend it.. he says its WAY too much... 115 km/h @ 4000 rpm... so maybe the 3.15 might be a good solution?? I just dont want to loose to much pull...
