My Clutch Pedal was on the Floor after work today!

Bummer. It's Friday night at 7:30 and I'm still at work, which is bad enough, but then I go to my 1988 325i and the clutch pedal is sitting on the floor! Now I'm waiting for a tow truck. Do I have a hydraulic clutch or a wire? I don't even know. I don't see any fluid under the car, but it has been raining all day. Can anyone tell me if this is hard to fix? I need the car by Monday

you guys are so gay, but that was funny. Anyway you have a hydrualic clutch, if your master blew up there will be fluid on your driverside carpet, but check out your slave first since it's an easier job.

not always true, my master died without spilling a drop of fluid, still not sure how it happened i guess 18 years of pumping got to it

true, my slave went out and no drop was spilled. So i suppose replace your slave first cause it's cheaper.

Wow. Quite a thread. Must be Friday night. Thanks for the advice. Where is the slave? In my Ford Explorer you need to pull the transmission to get to the slave. I hope that is not the case here.
