    help

I replaced the guibo, and center support bearing on my driveshaft. Had
it marked so I could put it back in the way it came off. When I was
under there the first time id found a bolt missing on the guibo, and
another one on the flange on the diff. after replacement of the parts,
i still have a vibration at about 40mph. i rotated the driveshaft 180
degrees today and it got a little better, but i still have vibration.
whats going on? there is no movement of the shaft when its installed on
the car. i have a bentley manual, but i could use some input. :hitler:

The drive shaft would be correctly mated with the pain marks matched. Was the replacement of the CSB called for by a failure of the rubber mount? If so, the vibration could be from binding u-joints in the drive shaft, which is almost always the cause of a CSB failure.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

checked both u-joints. replaced the rear one. front one was ok. csb was replaced due to the rubber being bad. guibo was replaced due to the rubber being chewed up and bolts being shaved and rounded out on it from the previous owner.

If you replaced any of the u-joints, the drive shaft must be rebalanced.
