Steering issue, need a few opinions

So, my steering doesn't necessarily pull, but after i make either a left or a right turn the steering will stay pulling toward that direction until i center it myself. even after centering the steering, it will still pull slightly in the direction that i took my last turn. The previous owner said he thinks the car might need new tie rods, and I personally think maybe the bushings are worn. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should check? Or any experiences of this happening?
