    Ok my first question!

I jus bought a 325i se..... it has lots of sport extras.... the mtec kit...The sports seats.... the suspension... and mtec rollbars..... he said it had a LSD... but not tested that yet! My mechanic is lookin at tomorrow and he will let me know!

I know it doesnt have the close raito gear box..... So here is my first question.... how easy... is it to fix this problem! is it jus a linkage.... and if there is no LSD how big a deal will it be.

If i could also have website links for both the issues.... would be great

    Thanks Aidan

if no lsd, count on 4 man hours plus 250$ + easy for a good lsd.

    not a big problem.
i just installed one myself last night....couldn't live with out it now.

Found this short shifter! Does anyone here run this part or know of a better option?

use a z3 shifter, its cheaper to peice together.

a close ratio gearbox means the gear ratios of the transmission are closer to one another, great for a track car it keeps your engine in the powerband, hurts top speed and fuel economy though. a short throw shifter on the other hand reduces the amount of movement but increases the force needed to change gears.
