    m20 lightened flywheel... pics? anyone??

    Hey guys

Im reviving my e30 - she got tucked away a few years back and I couldn't bring myself to part with her over time... Ive got the engine ripped down and I am doing a fairly stock budget rebuild. I am sticking a new/used tranny and new Sachs sport clutch in her and I am looking for pics of people's lightened stock single mass flywheels.

    Anyone?

Ive seen the m3 evo unit and I am thinking about knocking down the engine side "disc" part where it tapers down to the center (roughly removing 5/8" of material) but in addition I have been looking at milling out inbetween the disc mounting tabs much like the EVO units.

Does anyone have pics of their take of a flywheel on a diet?

Sorry I just put my tranny on 3 days ago and installed the motor/tranny today. I took the stock one and had the engine side of it shaved even with the edge of the teeth. They said that they took off 3.5 Kilo's so I am guessing that it is around 12lbs now. Cost me only 50 euro's for shaving and balancing
