I know there is a thread a few lines below mine BUT considering the guy is banned and seemed like a jerk, I figured noone would respond to his thread anymore. The rear u-joint on my 87is was rather tight when I swapped out my rear subframe bushings, and a I have an annoying vibration btwn 45-60 mph in 4th and 5th. I'm thinking the joint needs to be replaced. I know Bav auto does a core exchange and will send you a rebuilt unit for around 500 (ouch) but I am thrifty and would like to try to get this done local. Anyone know of any shops in Allentown Reading area that can balance a 2piece shaft? Or anyone have a good shaft for a reasonable price? Thanks
