After spending a bunch of time at the auto parts store, I found a radiator hose that fit our application with a startlingly minimal amount of modification. Our application is an e36 radiator, remote oil filter assy, and no subframe spacers. As a result, a simple 90-degree hose with a vertical height change of 3.5"-4.5" is all that is necessary. Also, the upper hose needs to accommodate the fact that the water pump and radiator have significantly different outlet diameters.
Hose part # is 20923 (Car Quest). There was enough length to trim as necessary, and we were able to use the same part # for upper and lower hoses.
