My chances of making gutenfest by late may in my 340i is 70% ( I will bring my 335ic as a backup)
My chances of making bimmerfest east at the end of August is near 100% ( I registered for this event back in December) and I want to hook up with you guys on the way down to caravan.
Ha... Yeah, I'll be G'fest, but I don't know how "finished" the car will be... we'll see. By Bimmerfest, it should be 100% complete. We'll hammer out all the details when the date gets closer, but we'll caravan for sure... roll up deep in V8 E30s, lol!
Well, I know that mine is already registered, unless something catastrophic were to happen, Justin will be there, Frank thinks its a bit far (but I think we'll wear him down). I don't know the guy up North to be able to get ahold of him, so he would be the only maybe... Start planning how to ask off, lol...

What new diff ratio you going g with? And using 6spd or 5spd?
Edit : ok 4.10 got it. Tapatalk on my DROID makes research more cumbersome. Aren't you worried about obsoleting 1st gear by going so short?
6 speed, my main concern was using 3 gears on the road I play on, not 2. I am hoping I won't hate the extra gears. Then again I also drive a F350 manual and shift 5 gears before I reach 50mph.
With the "original" 3.15 I got 24mpg on the drive home ~500miles. Once home mixed driving I was around 18mpg. If I was having fun with it I was around 9mpg.
With the new dif I am hoping for 15mpg on the highway and over 5mpg while having fun.
yeesh my E39 540i/6 gets better mileage than that and weighs 1000 lbs more...

I am glad to see you saved the car! If it is ready by May 12th you should bring it over the mountain to the BBQ/Parkway run! Only 1.5hrs away from you!
If we can all organize and get 5 together. I would make sure that I could get the time off.
