what if the 5-speed has less drivetrain loss? eh? eh? ;)

Just so you know, the ratios in the 5 speed and 6 speed transmissions are identical, except for the over driven 6th in the 6 speed @ .83:1, so that won't have any bearing on the results. Final drive obviously will have an impact, as well as weight and any engine mods...

M60b40 w/ 5spd 3.73 lsd and weight of the car would be cool! :)
