    Ford 5.0 swap question

I want to put a Ford 302 v8 into my 1991 318i vert. Anybody know what kind of fuel economy I would get with it?

    Thanks!

Id estimate 10mpg on mine maybe. Thats a cammed 306 w/ a 650 double pumper tho. Not exactly an economy tuned setup.

I would expect with a efi motor around 15-18 mpgs might even be slightly better. I support this not with actual fact but more so with the following reasoning. The fact that a E30 is a bit lighter with smaller tires, proper gearing, and most of the time uncorking the 302 is a must in regards to headers/exhaust/intake. I would go as far to imagion with a refreshed motor and the above with a solid tune you could reach the almighty 20mpg...lol....

I am just bored and talking out of my ass....i think..umm yea
