Probably not. I only go on drift days :)

I should update this more often. I'm busy with Formula D and probably the most budget restricted this year than I've ever been in the past decade. So progress is slow and what I do buy is super cheap. YAY!

Here's to start you off with what it's like working without a garage and in mosquito heaven.

Engine bay shots for those who haven't seen it recently.

Had a diff spacer set I wasn't using and decided to try it out as hood raisers. I don't think it raises it enough and google searching says it's hit or miss on whether or not it actually does anything for temps. I'm trying to get airflow past the brake hydro area.

Ignore the body panel gaps. Look at the hood gap.

Sikky is making an LS/T56 specific shift knob made of poly and some machined aluminum parts. I want it. But I needed something for now. Athletic tape and a pipe I had laying around works well for now. I also want to put the check panel back where it was but I don't have any of that interior left. Thoughts?

Took the car to work a few times. Here's a basic garage shot.

    Groceries!

And $6 worth of shit badges at autozone. I'll get the real stuff one day. Don't care enough for anything right now.

    ToDo list includes:
    Heat shield for hydro
    Coolant gauge
    Better hood risers/raisers/whatever
catch can plumbed back into intake (needs tig work)
    oil cooler
    ps cooler
    Body work/paint
    Shorten skid plate

    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

I feel you dude. My car's been down and out because of a torn rad hose, but I just don't feel like fucking with it either. Too much time/money invested in the car, need a few weeks to relax.

But hey, if it makes life easier, burn a little bit of sage or rosemary to keep the mosquito away. Hear it works good

On a side note, about those spacers - I've got a whole lotta 4x1x1.25" aluminum blocks laying around. That seem like the dimensions for those roller dealies? Wasn't sure if you're still looking for something "legit looking"

I might just go to home depot and cut down some tubing lol. Cheap and quick!

Why not just remove the hood seal? In any case, you are going to get a lot of engine bay hot air through your air intake vents at the base of the windshield.

Where did you buy the fender flares?

                they're from DTM fiberwerkz

Would just sealing the intake vents work?

I left some of the seal for when it rains. I don't have all the holes in my firewall covered up so that's how I keep most of the water out of my cabin. Suggestions on plugging up all those holes?

                    Are they so bad?

The body kit or the holes in the firewall? Either way, yes.

Lulz. Yoshi do you have a plasma cutter? Or access to one? Because you could cut out some sheet metal and use self tappers to block off dem hoes... I guess you really don't need a plasma cutter for that though.

Yea that might work. I don't like self tapping screws though. Causes rust.

RTV then? Easy enough to remove, probably will hold up for a good while? Some kind of glue?

                            Comment

Yea. been pondering. Some areas are like where the AC lines were. Def more than something just some RTV will cover.

Well no I mean use RTV or some kind of easy-to-remove glue to stick a plate over the hole. Me? I used aluminum/HVAC tape to cover my holes, it works great but sticks out like a sore thumb. I assume you're looking for something a little less ghetto looking
