Sikky LS E30 (eventually E36) swap kits

I finally got the OK to start posting stuff about the kit.

Sikky is currently developing an LS swap kit for E30s. Soon after (to my knowledge) they are working on the same thing for E36s. I don't know 100% all the details for sure but I can always ask. Plus what I'm posting is always subject to change.

This kit will be sold in different "packages". You can buy as much of it as you want or just individual pieces. So if you just want the mount kit, you can do that.

    Full package contents so far:
    Trans/motor mounts/arms
    One piece drive shaft
Custom Sikky headers (option for ceramic coating)
    Hydroboost for brakes
Steering guibo delete (not 100% on this one)
    Sikky oil pan setup

Crappy cell phone pix from today!

Motor mounts for the E30 kit

These are 350z LS oil pans but it's basically what the E30 ones will look like.

    Already started packaging the kit!

    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

Sweet. The individual pieces look great so far. Will you guys be offering any kind of a DIY LS swap support/DIY articles/instructions? Any kind of idea on a price for the full kit yet?

Sikky is pretty good with customer support. The kits come with decent documentation IIRC. I'm personally going to be putting out articles and such about how to piece together an LS swap. The kit itself only gets you so far. For instance, you need a Camaro T56 shifter. I have a GTO T56 and it sets the shifter too far back.

Oh yea my b. They won't give me any pricing since the kit isn't done yet. They haven't finished the hydroboost setup and steering mods. You can get a general idea by going to their website and seeing their existing kits. It will probably be more due to the hydroboost. But then again, you can get the massive booster delete.

I believe the mounts will only be sold with the DS and oil pan. Not 100%. I do know they won't sell anything until the kit is complete.

^ makes sense, given drivetrain alignment/oil pan clearance.

still. i wonder what kind of unobtainium levels of pricing they will command. i want those mounts for the design and machining that went into producing them.

How much are you paying to get this done? For your car to be used as a R&D project that should be cool. Jealous!

You can see their normal pricing at www.sikky.com It'll be around that but a smidge more for the hydro boost. It's expensive but not ungodly expensive.

Haha you know I can't tell you that. It most certainly isn't free though. This isn't a full ride by any means. I'm more of a test bed and I get to keep the fruits of their labor.

Their s13 stuff is pretty decent. Had a few small fitment niggles that seemed annoying for the price, but it all works and holds up well from what I've seen.

Like what? All I can think of is headers. And those basically always happen due to the mass manufacturing process.
