Thanks for the info. From what I've read It seems to be a bit of mix 'n match.
Your updates give me hope !

    Mini-update: September 26th

Finished bleeding the brakes, put back part of the front end back together, and Sea Foam'd the engine. I'll be addressing some small rust spots around the body and fixing those this weekend. Also, picking up some late model bumpers pretty soon and should have the car registered not too long after getting everything on.

Any info on what alum shifter arm and shift rod you ended up with?
I'm also using the ZF310. Thanks

Haha I can dream though, can't I. I'm happy with anything over 200 to the wheels.

Dude, when am I gonna get to see that beast of yours! I can't even imagine what it drives like.

    Update: September 25th

Fixed the issue where my car was running rich. Reset the ECU with all the plugs capped on the intake manifold. Started up perfectly and idles great now. Still surges a bit, but I still need to replace all the gaskets on manifold and possibly replace the ICV if the issue continues. In the future I'm planning on swapping out the B30 manifold and throttle body for an entire B40 intake setup. That combined with a chip, should be making close to 250HP at wheels according to some dyno sheets floating around the net.

But SHE DRIVES and is finally ready for the road.

Now I need to begin the process of tidying up things in the engine bay, putting back the front and rear ends back together and getting it registered. My 21st birthday is coming up next month and I couldn't be happier that I finished the car before then.

Gonna have videos and pictures of the car once I get it presentable.

Awesome! Thanks for the comparison! I just got standard M60 mounts. Will have to get some TD mounts.

    Update: September 18th

Been lazy to update my thread due to school but I'm in the process of fixing a couple of issues with the car. Had to order a larger bore for the clutch master cylinder from Wilwood yesterday because of issues with clutch not disengaging. I had ordered 5/8" thinking it would be large enough but I'm paying for it now. I'm going with 3/4" as Garagistic did in their swap. I'm working on shortening the harness and figuring out why my coolant temp gauge isn't working too. Also ordered a clean used ICV due to the car running rich and the engine dying when I cap off the vent lines on the intake manifold for the charcoal canister and brake booster.

I'll have more pictures as I slowly get the car roadworthy.

I was able to delete the air pump system the B30 had (emissions BS) and cap off this exhaust vent.

I'm also running my coolant reservoir setup the same way FrankM did with his M60. I used all E34 coolant hoses with slight trimming of the hoses. Also had to massage the firewall in to reduce any kinkage of the rear heater core hoses.

Haha for Frank, here's those exhaust shots you were asking about. Everything lines up perfectly.

Copying and pasting this from my other thread but here's the size comparison between Revshift mounts and E39 525TDS mounts for people's future reference.

For Garagistic's engine mounts, these are necessary. Revshift or any other M60 mounts won't work (that I know of). They're a huge improvement over Revshift ones. Vibration into the cabin is almost zero due to these having the softness of stock motor mounts. Clearance over the subframe and steering rack is nominal too (about 7cm).

Pulled off the intake manifold tonight to get to the rear coolant housing and finish mounting my reservoir and coolant hoses. God I wish I had more money so I could swap an entire B40 intake setup to help make more power. I'm currently just working on finishing my cooling setup and deleting all this air pump and charcoal canister nonsense. I'm also waiting on these E39 525DTS motor mounts to arrive since my revshift ones are too low and the oil pan is touching the subframe.

Also, check out this easy mod to get the oil filter housing out of the way combined with an eBay Z3 radiator. Made two extension brackets (one is visible in the picture above) to help tilt the housing away and give me ample room to fit my hoses. If you're wondering how my front hoses are set up, I'm using E34 530i hoses in the front that I cut to the length I needed and used two 1.47" copper pipe adapters just 3" in length to attach both ends. Cost like $5 for both at Home Depot, just check out the Plumbing aisle and you'll find a ton of stuff.

Happy to see this came in today. It's a 385mm fine spline I got from overseas.

    Damn Frank, you moved fast!

Ordered E39 525DTS mounts two nights ago like Garagistic recommended for their setup so I'll see how those work differently. These revshift ones have settled far too low and the pan started to touch the subframe.

Also, I have coilovers and an M-Tech 2 wheel coming next week. BTW anyone have a E30 blower fan speed switch for the HVAC? (part #61311381201). I need one on the cheap if anyone's got one, I can't find mine in the garage and I'm finishing putting the interior back together.
