    Update: May 23rd

My T55 long torx arrived. A T60 which is standard on all B40 flywheels did not work for me because some earlier B30's required use of T55 to get off the flywheel. Just a heads up to anyone considering this swap.

Also my Sachs clutch set arrived today.

Also for anyone who doesn't think the B30 is more than a capable platform, here's a thread a found on swapping the throttle body and intake manifold from the B40. I payed $450 for this motor so if I'm able to make that sort of power, then I made out quite well.

Also a dyno sheet from a member who shows the power gains on his motor.

I'm planning on doing this eventually for sure.

I like everything here except the part where you settled for a B30.

    Update: May 22nd

Took a 7 hour round trip to r3v member FrankM's house to pick up his old entire exhaust setup which I'll be adapting for my swap. Stoked! Also got a coolant reservoir and some polyurethane mounts as well from him.

Now just waiting on my stuff from Garagistic to get my motor in the car!

    Update: May 19th

My radiator and transmission arrived yesterday. I also took a trip down to Gfest. I have some pics of my dashboard rebuild in progress. Still waiting on my clutch kit and stuff from Garagistic.

Two coats of primer applied and cracks filled. Still needs more work to get it to look flush.

Very cool. I'll be paying attention to this, as I'd be interested in doing this as I get bored of the M50.

The stuff from Wilwood came in. Pedal assembly and 5/8" compact master cylinders for the brakes and 3/4" for the clutch. My 404 ECU and ZF 310Z should be here tomorrow with more stuff coming next week too.

Not yet. Still need to pull out my harness and get to work on wiring. That reminds me, I need to upload those pics of the rebuild on my cracked dashboard.

    Update: May 14

    FINALLY done with the semester.

Just ordered a mess of stuff from Garagistic, Jegs and Summit to get my engine in the car and boosterless brake setup squared away. Now time to find a 5 speed 310Z and a manual eta driveshaft. Pictures as the stuff comes in.
