I have a friend who runs a shop in Raleigh, NC. And he has been working on this project for awhile and I just thought it would be nice to share with you guys.

Very nice! Love the pic with the core support and grilles. Can is kinda like, "guys, what's going on here???"1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5 -
Yeah this thing is pretty wicked. I was drooling all over it when I went to check it out. Good thing his shop is right across the street and get to enjoy all sorts of BMW's come and go. Oh and front bumper is cut up like that due to fitment issues...It was bought from Eurostop/DTM Fiberwerkz or w.e. ....but as everyone knows they have had issues selling products that fit but my buddy got it all worked out. I will try to keep you guys posted with new pics cause I know he is a busy man and has alot going on. And this beast is going to paint soon, still debating on color though.Comment

That steering shaft / roll-cage support looks a bit suicidal!
It's not the safest car as a starting point, but still..- E34 M5 (x 2) -

I like the way he mounted the motor off the frame of the car instead of the subframe. Stronger and less prone to tearing away like lots of those subframe mounting points tend to do. I'm sure it won't do anything good for NVH effects on the car though. You'll feel every vibration that motor has to offerComment

However, as the engine is mounted like that maintenance and altogether the total build is significantly easier as if the engine was bolted to the subframe.- E34 M5 (x 2) -

Scary, rest of the car looks amazing.
That column mount looks like a torture device. I have an image in my head of being impaled through the chest. No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.Comment

There's a few things I would do differently, one of them being that steering column support. Over all though it's a cool looking car, I can't imagine how awesome that must feel to drive-AlexComment
