Six Speed Getrag Transmission Crank Position Sensor Location

Would anyone have a 6 speed V8 transmission laying around that they can measure up the are for the CPS hole? I'd appreciate it, pictures too would help. Thanks!

I'm looking to modify my five speed's bell housing to match so that I may get closer to putting this swap together. Thanks again guys.

I don't think.... nvm I dunno.
My 6spd has none of the sort. M62's get their signal from the front crank pulley.

M60s get theirs from the crank pulley. Position sensor is mounted in the lower timing cover.



M62s get theirs from the flywheel. Sensor mounts at about the 7:00 position in the bell housing looking at the front of the trans.



I'll look and see if my 6sp has the crank sensor hole tonight, but I don't think it does.

Whelp. No sensor hole on mine. Musta come from a b40 car.

I checked on mine as well. nothing

Surely there's some transmission out there with this whether it be automatic or manual. Everything that had an M62 or M62TU would have this feature.
