      F34R, you should try 3.73 with b35/260.6 for giggles. it was fun when I had that in mine.

        Jean, my old black m30 vert had a 3.73 before I went down to 3.64. I loved it, but simply revved too high on the hwy. Brandons car is 2300#, so the 3.15 is probably plenty tall enough

                Depends on the application. For high load applications, like head bolts, the time sert is indeed superior. However, for high *cycle* applications, where the bolt is constantly being threaded in and out, the helicoil is better, as it's much less likely to unscrew itself.

                Admittedly, my experience is with a '92 535i which had electronic throttle on an M30... but my experience is that cruise control via the throttle by wire is far better (faster engagement, more stable, less speed error) than mechanical cruise. Doesn't the S62 DME have cruise switch inputs so that it can manage the cruise itself?
                The DME and electronic throttle were different brains in the E34.

                  I shall NEVER do such a thing. I do, however want to learn how to use INPA and reset the adaptations, but I can't seem to get it to work yet...

                      Kudos for this one! I have been debating the same swap for months or supercharging my car. Well after getting over the brief and stupid thought of selling my e30... Just out of curiosity did your first m60 headers and downpipes fit the s62?

                            It was a joke. I drained my brand new oil into that container after I needed to fix something.
