Just removing the top half makes pulling the engine out easy. We just lifted a bit for the transmission to clear and that was it. Rolled right out without touching a thing. The bottom section is in the shape of a U, so the oil pan clears with ease.Leave a comment:

Good seeing ya Frank! You're a life saver with this exhaust. Can't wait to see the finished product of this.Leave a comment:

Just the Top. I wanted to lessen any risk by maintaining the frame rail strength as much as I could while simply making the installation/removal of this shoehorn of an engine easier.
I will show updated progress on how it is actually removable and how I plan to brace it.Leave a comment:

Are you planning on making the entire core removable like Justin and Garey or just the top like in the pictures? It looks like you might have found a better way to make it removable and leave a little structure behind the way you have it cut in the pictures. Nice progress so far! Can't wait to see this thing! Updates 5/21
I wish I could, boys. Wish I could.
Thanks for stopping by. Good luck with that exhaust and let me know if you have any questions!!
Started removing the Engine last night

Thanks to the help of Chris and Brandon, I was able to get it out in no time.
Making the front radiator core support removable

My creepy face....

We devised a method of making the core support removable relatively easy, but it made the removal of the engine so easy an I can't wait to repeatedly test fit the S62 to perfection with no mechanical interferences of any kind.

yeah, I was trying to break a smile and enjoy this captain morgan shot. All I was thinking was, "Can I install the S62 now?"

Next steps are:- Pin the X0004 Connector
- Await the ECU from Adem Ergen
- Finalize the Radiator Core Support Welding/Hardware
- Test Fit the S62 and begin welding/building the Headers
