So I'm starting to finish up the wiring so I can crank the engine over for the first time. I seem to have forgotten just how the starter wiring is supposed to go. I have the automatic wiring bypassed, I just need help with the junction box connections. Below are some pictures of the harness I am using and it's connections. Please let me know what I need to keep and if I need to remove any of the wiring.
The engine and wiring harness is from a 1994 530i manual car. The E30 is a 10/85 build 1986 325e which was originally automatic.
My main problem is that with all of the wiring hooked up, when I go to connect the battery the starter just cranks over bypassing the ignition altogether. This is where I am stuck. Here are photos of the said connectors i'm stuck with. Any help is much appreciated!
