M60B40 Heater Matrix Bypass?

    M60B40 Heater Matrix Bypass?

    I've completely removed the heater matrix/blow thingy, so wondering if my idea of bypassing it is right?



    Can I just join the 2 outlets on this together with a T piece and run 1 hose to the Reservoir? Can I balls understand the realoem diagrams about this.

    Anyone any thoughts on above?

    I joined the 2 ports with rubber hose, did a bit testing and the hose split.
    Can I weld the ports up, or do they need to be flowing coolant?

      Pretty sure these ports are the supply and return for the heater core

        So ok to simply join together? I've rejoined it again, with another bit hose, seems the other hose that had split when I jacked engine up to wrap manifolds I caught the hose on the bulkhead and damaged it, so split after a bit of pressure.
