    M62tub44 question..

So I have a m62tub44 and was wondering if anyone had ever put m60b30 heads on one ? I realize the valves are a bit smaller and the domed part is too.
Would it increase the compression ratio too much?
I read that some one was considering it but haven't seen a definitive yes or no.
I also saw that the the cams had different size "bearings" so I don't believe I could swap them.
So would it just flat out not work?
Would the smaller valves be too much of a limiter to larger displacement?
    Any thoughts are appreciated
Only reason looking at this option is because I have a complete m60b30 wiring harness and everything and a m62tub44 engine with no wiring harness

I don't think you are going to greatly affect your basic cylinder volume and static compression. You are going decrease the flow and power of the engine. I have not read much on putting the OBD1 heads on the OBD2 blocks, but it seems there are possible issues with coolant lines not matching... My assumption would be that it would be the same and bolt up and work.

My guess is that if you got m60b40 cams you could probably swap them into your heads. I know the cam trays for the m5x motors changed for OBD2. I imagine the M6x is similar.
