    finishing a M60B30 harness to a square C101

I'm either getting old, my vision is going or I'm just not looking in the right place for I just can't seems to find the right info on a <88 European E30. I have a Euro 85 323i with the square c101 so I figure I better ask before I end up frying a harness.
I've done the obvious connection from the M60 to square c101 and I can fire up the engine and start it.
The wires I have left from the square 101 is the BL/WT pin 17(service indicator reset) and the BLK/BR pin 16(oil service). I have no clue were to connect them.
The engine coolant wires-I see one of them matches BR/VL pin 4 to pin 12 on the M60. there is also a second coolant wire (pin 11)that is ground from the m60 so I assume to just ground this wire by the fuse box. as for the the tack wire I see I have to get the oem bmw 4 cyl coding module and then the RPM module from garagistic.

Thank you for the help...........enjoy the 4th July !!!!!!!!!!

    I can'tt' help with the C101

but as posted byJGOOD an option to the garagistic unit which requires the 4 cyl code plug..
The Dakota Digital SGI-8. It's a fully programmable unit, packaged in a nice little box, works to translate any # of cylinders. It's only $80
    also check Summit parts GL

looking at some different wire diagrams from e30 and and e34 and some of these diagrams quote wires color that are not even on both of my harnesses. WTF how many did BMW make for these cars...lol

E30 wiring harness stuff changed almost every year not major changes but you need to use the ETM for the correct year or you will start noticing slight differences.

While not listed as being for euro models, possibly compare your harness from these listed here http://wedophones.com/Manuals/BMW/

thanks. actually that's what I have been using. I haven't found anything yet to match my wiring.

Still have not been able to figure the two wires stated on post one. I also can't seem to get the temp gauge to work. I suspect my temp sensor is bad since I crossed the sensor plug and the gauge went all the way to hot. Is there a certain ohm reading to determine if it's bad ?
