    LS1 swapped E30 - mpg

What do you guys average on mpg highway cruising around 60 mph?

I've heard of ls e30s getting up to 30 mpg on the highway. Basically idling with that T56

I'd assuming they'd get relatively good mileage because the motor doesn't have to work at all.

Depends on how close to stock your car is. Should be around the level of what a korvette, kuhmero or trans am get

I haven't been able to run a full tank through mine without flogging it, but traveling to Baltimore from north of Philly and back yielded 26 mpg cruising at 80-85 on the highway. GTO T56 (overdrive not as tall as Camaro T56) and 2.93 diff. Just swapped to a 3.25 diff but I still think 30 is attainable if you cruised at 60 in 6th.

            Thank you! :)

Seems like 26 is like the stock Camaro SS.

Do you have a stock tune?

Yeah man, not bad at all. I'd say I've averaged about 20 on all the tanks, combining regular driving and whooping its ass haha. It's a relatively stock tune, I still want to get it dyno tuned. I bought the PCM from a guy in New Jersey who builds wire harnesses and sells PCMs to go with them. He refurbishes the PCMs and flashes them with a base tune. PSI Conversion is the company.

I've averaged about 20 myself. That's partly due to a very rich tune.
