    L33 swap to E30

    After many trials and tribulations, and mucho dollars, I finally have the thing running, kind of. It is making large amounts of black smoke and noxious odors and seems to be miss-firing. I am using an LS1 intake and injectors which had to be adapted to the L33 harness. The plugs are all black. With the key on, I am measuring 12.4 volts on both sides of the injector. This doesn't seem right. Anyone got an answer or a direction to go??

    What's the afr? It sounds like it's running rich. Did you have it tuned yet?

      make sure the L33 injectors and the LS1 injectors both have the same impedance, that's where i'd begin anyway

      also, you didn't mention if you tuned the L33 computer to compensate for the different intake and injectors - I think the ls1 injectors flow more fuel, which might explain you running rich as hell.
