How much is a proper m60/62 swap costing these days? I can see engines are around $400 to $1800, but I'm talking about what every little expense has added up to for those who've done it themselves. I always plan my projects way in advance (like 2 years out) so I can be realistic about what things cost. I see no reason to spend more than like $3k on it, even though the car was only $700. I will be doing all the rust repair and repainting the car myself; it's a slicktop 318is that will be undergoing major rust repair.
