I also cut 1mm from head to get comp ration to 11:1

Alpina cams regrind to Schrick spec.

I also go custom shim under buckets.

Valve springs come from Ford modular 32v engine (eibach race parts)
Upper retainers are from S62.
Now my valve/cam setup can handle 8500rpm.
Of course i use 7500rpm limit, i hope my std rods can take it.Leave a comment:

Lets start with engine build.
I was looking cheap replacement for S14B27 engine.
So i bye Alpina F3 engine with head gasket failure.

After disassemble, i look all the parts and think, maybe i do some tuning also before rebuilding it.
Find some S62 parts:

Also i take Alpina heads to flowbench.
Heads flow 580hp/12mm valve lift (28")
Now i know that heads are ok for better cams.
After some search, i go with Schrick 292/284 profiles for S14 engine.
