is there a verdict whether the S65 fits without cutting the firewall / hood?

Hi,

This doesn't appear to be a common swap. The only evidence I can see are 2 cars; one where the firewall was already cut from a previous swap and the other where the hood had to be cut out and the plenum sits above the hood line.

Anyone have any other empirical evidence? I have found a motor and am looking for a reason...

Custom subframes etc not an issue, but I would prefer to not cut the firewall or run a custom hood

I'd imagine if an s85 fits without firewall or hood modification, then an s65 would too

A friend swapped an S65 in Spain, just subframe mods, engine fits just fine.
