    Newbie with Questions

Hi my name is Jake and I'm new to the forum and I just have a couple of questions.
All of which have to do with motor swaps.
I'm planning on doing a ford 302 and t5 trans swap into my 1991 325is. I'm looking for a rough estimate so I don't get to far over my head when planning this swap
    1) How much does the swap cost if it is all done by yourself?
    2) How much if you have a shop do all the work?
    3) How long does the swap take for an inexperienced person?
    Thanks for the help

I spent 5000 getting mine to the driveable stage with a stock 5.0/T5. The only work I farmed out was the driveshaft, and it took me 9 months of weekends and evenings between family and work life. I will spend maybe another 1000 on getting the brakes where I want them and re-installing power steering. I'm in Canada where we pay more for everything, so your cost should be less.

I don't know what a shop would charge.
