    M60 5 speed Transmission options

    My search results have been detrimental to my progress.

    What is the final answer on which BMW's came with a 5 speed that will bolt up to my m60b40? And what is the transmission code?
    Only the 530i's?

      It's the 5 spd from the E34 530i V8, model is ZF S5D 310Z. I just bought one out of a 94 530i for $350 with only 45K on it. Check car-part.com and you'll see them around.
