You are correct on the friction plate being steel, an I didn't know that I'm still just getting this up in the works. Also the price can be adjusted once I get it in my hands n some review with itLeave a comment:

When you say all aluminum, I assume you mean aluminum with a bolted-on steel friction surface, like all other aluminum flywheels, correct? Since Aluminum can't handle the heat of the clutch disc... Especially at only 240mm and 300 ft lbs.
TTV is already selling a similar product for ~$500 shipped, no? 16lb flywheel, bolts to m6x, uses e36 m3 clutch. My aluminum UUC flywheel is 17 lbs, not sure how much more can really be taken off (I know I wouldn't want mine any lighter regardless).Leave a comment:

It will have the ring gear on it for both m60/62 since there is no difference teeth wise, n I used the e36 m3 setup for mine originally. I will keep in touch with you n let you knowLeave a comment:

I will wait then before buying a OEM DMF ...
I would not mind being the first one to test... What clutch would I use?
Not sure if it would be cheaper but I dont need the 60-2 tooths on it for the CPS sensor... I just need the tooths for the starter.. cause I'm controlling the engine with a front CPS wheel (like the OBD1 M60B40 engine)Leave a comment:

Around 650-700, but before I send them out n what not I want to test them or actually if I can find someone to test it on there car that would be perfect. See how they Like it.Leave a comment:
