Had my machinist send me this today, can't wait for it to be done an tested on my car n maybe see if anyone else would interested in buying one all aluminum flywheel 6061
Still waiting on extra cash to finish the crossover pipe just need some v-bands n a flex pipe. Also fitted it into the car after modifying it n everything fits just fine:)
Finished the welding on the manifold...or the majority of the welding. Now waiting on more funds to buy the v-bands and oil lines for the turbo to run it and see how everything holds up.
But I put my measuring tape up just to show how much you have near the frame rails. N I got rid of the big loop pipe to make it close to the head. I tested fitted in my car n the area where the washer fluid was it fit the turbo just fine.
Okay cool thanks, I made some adjustments to the manifold on the passenger side, doesn't look as cool but will function the same which is what matter and its a lot closer to the head n so is the piping to the collector
Snapped some photos. Keep in mind may radiatior isn't in place. That's going to eat up space in front of the engine.
About 3.5" from top of the exhaust port to the grain rail. Should mean you can't go beyond that distance away from the engine on a line parrellel to the ground.
It's the same thing on the drivers side.
Took a shot of the front passenger area, just holding up the tape so you have something to scale roughly.
Here is a shot down the passenger side.
Frame rails at the front measured a little over 27"
