You can just make a steering shaft out of 2 e46 shafts as well which is much cheaper

i think i'll do the swap, a bit of the wiring, then sub out all the hard stuff, steering and brakes....my frame of mind (for now!)

@shiboukin, I see your running a 6.0L. Are you running the LQ4 or LQ9 or something else?

You can fab it yourself from flaming river joints and a rod. The headers (no matter the kit) will melt the stock rubber stuff. So you have to at minimum make it not melt. But then, you might as well make it smaller so you have more room for activities.

It's a separate kit. I think even the solid steering bits are separate from the regular kit.

i didn't know the steering has to be modified too.........guess i have alot more research to do.

The harness is a one off so I won't be much help there. The brake setup is the full sikky hydroboost. I had to header wrap my headers but it works fine. Pretty easy to install and no modifications to the body required. Bolt in and go.

I Didn't know sikky had the hydroboost for brakes, i didn't see that in the kit.

The GTO oil pan is your best bet if you don't get the sikky kit. Garagisitic also sells one that works well. I'm doing a trial run with my car to figure out a hydroboost setup that would be affordable and not require all of the linkage that Garrett's kit uses but I will have more details once I have it running. My car made around 350whp with my turbo m20 setup and no issues with the diff so unless you are planning for nitrous or a turbo you will be alright. I am going to run a painless harness and wire it into the C101

Oh, and a buddy of mine has been running Garrett's kit for probably a year and a half now. He drifts the car regularly and beats the living shit out of it. Garrett's parts are stout and haven't let him down.

off topic, Do you know if he is using stock axles and single differential ear mount? Just like to know

Wiring will be the same regardless of the kit. I'm biased as I have a sikky kit. Everything just fits and works. I don't have a second ear for my diff and I beat the crap out of it drifting. No issues so far. The sikky kit is more complete for your money and it's a true business instead setup specifically for swap kits.
