Garagistic Wilwood Pedal Box users, chime in

Okay, so I'm almost done with my LS1/T56 swap (except the interior, that part is still a huge mess) and I need some input from folks using the Garagistic pedal box bracket.

Now the instructions require cutting the throttle linkage which the throttle cable attaches to (to avoid interference with the wilwood pedal box). Doing so has now limited the amount of travel for the cable since the linkage arm is now shorter, so now the throttle body does not open all the way (I'd say about 60% at full throttle).

To jerry rig a fix for this I basically pulled the throttle pedal all the way out before hooking up the throttle cable, thus resetting the idle position for the throttle pedal and allowing more travel. Unfortunately that makes the pedal sit almost vertical to the floor and introduces a lot of binding in the linkage and pedal. Can someone please chime in with some ideas on how to properly fix this?

    Thanks.

Bump! I'm almost done with the wiring here, just finishing some misc items now. I'd appreciate any input on this.

Ordered a pedal/linkage set off of ebay yesterday and it's on its way. Gonna try cutting the linkage a bit less than before and see if I can keep the range of motion as close to stock as possible.

I went with a full standalone wiring harness from PSI Conversion which makes wiring VERY easy.

Here's a link to the instructions which came with my harness.

I cut my linkage down and had the same problem.

I then got a new linkage and didn't cut it. I filed a bit on the Wilwood bracket so it had full range motion. Problem solved.
