External oil cooler on a m60

So im in the process of this transplant and working out the cooling side of the system.

I am going to be using the M62 remote oil filter setup to mount the setup out of the way, it doesn't have the outputs for a factory oil cooler, so im wondering if anyone has set up a oil cooler on these motors any other way???

    thanks

they don't have this installed from the factory for a reason, i suppose. it would however be really easy to put on. just take one of the lines to the remote oil filter. route it to the front of the car to your cooler and then route a line back from the cooler to the filter.

Do they need an oil cooler? Put a good deep core radiator on and keep engine temps down. That in turn will keep your oil where it needs to be.

it doesnt necessarily need a oil cooler as it is only a street vehicle. Was just a curiosity thing if it was worth doing
