Got the car out on track for the fist time at the weekend, wow, what a machine.
However, a couple of problems I never had while testing things in the shed.
The tempature went up slightly ( not too surprising as it was not slow paced) and I've got a mishimoto alloy radiator so was hoping it would of took longer to rise above normal than it did, what I'm needing to know is how to plumb in an oil cooler, as on the filter housing there is two lines, do I need any special spacer plates or addaptors to put he lines onto or do I just take one off, go through a cooler then back on to where it came off? Anyone done this before?
The more conserning part of the day was towards the end when I started the engine, a small cloud of oil smoke came out the exhaust, should I be running an oil catch can? As I think some of the oil is going through the inlet and getting burnt, also got afew oil leeks but need to get the car In the air to see where it's coming from, but that's for another day
