I went with the oem fan from an e32 740 or 750i.(also 840 and 850i) It's huge, pulls tons of air, only costs 50 bucks at the junk yard, it's plug and play, two factory speeds, and fits with a little bit of modification to the core support.
This sounds like a great option. Do you have any pix of how it looks/fits?
What's the cost and rating on that fan? Also make sure the fuel hose on that walbro is rated to fit in the tank. I used the kit hose and it blew on me after sitting in the tank for a week.

it's a flexalite 16" something. I didn't put the fan on so I'm not super sure what the rating is. I have the model number somewhere but couldn't link it up to a CFM rating.
Defiantly give Bimmerworld a call. Both Gary Grey and Philip Wertz are familiar with LS swap e30/36 cars and Gary new a bunch of spec's. He assured me I wouldn't have any over heating issues with this fan if I ran AC. Only time will tell I suppose but his confidence and knowledge gave me confidence in the part.

540cfm? Mine's rated at above 2500 and I have overheating issues. I really want to move to smaller dual 3000cfm+ fans as pullers. Pushers are much less efficient sadly. Shrouding will help too.
That's suppose to be 5400.
I hope it works out, they know I'm running AC and concerned about overheating. This is what was recommended. I'll be sure to watch closely and post a review later on.
