Also the last of the style 32 wheels showed up and it's fucking bent. Took it to wheelsamerica for evaluation on whether or not they can fix it. I spent $150 on the wheel and repair is going to cost $140 if they can fix it. I may end up buying another wheel and use the bent/repaired one as a spare since I have 2 good Conti tires. I'm gonna see if I can get my dad or a friend to come help next time to give the transmission a go along with the motor. I need to tack weld the transmission support brackets on and go get them professionally welded together also. I may do that before continuing on with anything else.
I have a harness made by Redline Motorsports in Alabama via Ebay. I am really impressed with how quickly it was completed and shipped. I ordered on a Sunday and had it in my mailbox by Wednesday.

aaand I finally did a test fit last night of just the motor and mounts!!! Seeing the M62 between the frame rails really reinvigorated me. I'm determined to get this done now!
I got it all tucked in by my damn self too. I got the bushings and bolts all lined up on my first 15th try.

Got a set of 225/45/r17 Pilot AS/3's with 80% tread for a really good deal. One is already mounted. Waiting for the 4th wheel to arrive to get the other 3 mounted.

The bad fitment of the Style 5's I bought on a whim got me to start using my google-fu for what I wanted in the first place...
STYLE 32!!! A set of 4 17x7.5 ET41 sourced from 3 different sellers on Ebay

These style 5's are too big at 17x8, especially with the offset of ET20, the nuts on the inside rim were scraping on the calipers.
The off-center control arm bushings were too much caster with the bigger wheels/tires also.
