M62 crank position sensor is only a few millimetres away from one of the down pipes. Can it take being this close or is it going to melt?

i think thats going to be a problem. make a heat shield and get some exhaust wrap on that pipe.sigpic

I've put some exhaust wrap on the exhaust that's near to the sensor. Is that going to be good enough? There isn't enough room for a heat shield.Comment
