5.3+t5 Driveshaft questions

Since I couldn't get my hands on a t56 I picked up a cheap t5 that I figure I can go easy on until I can afford a t56, now my question is, do I have a driveshaft made up from scratch or pick up a 3rd gen camaro driveshaft and have it modified (length and the jagsthatrun diff adapter) thoughts?
