front fenders - same on all e30s ?

    Hey,

Just wondering if front fenders are universal for all e30s..

obviously m3 fenders are different, and iX ones have holes in them for the flares... but other than that.. are they all the same size?

for instance, can I use fenders from an 88 325e on a 91 is ?

    TIA

E30 convertible front fenders are different and specific to the convertibles only - will not work on other E30 sedans or coupes.

Yes, but the rockers are deeper on the cabrio fenders, and they may have extra bracing attached to them. I can't remember how the strut reinforcement was installed off the top of my head.

has nothing to do with actual fender.

the inside of the fender where the door jamb is, is different. the two door fender needs to be trimmed a little to make it fit flush with the body line if you put it on a four door.
it just happend to me. i took a fender from a two door and it did not fit my four door. everything is the same except the little part.
