    AC Condenser

I am in the process of refreshing my AC. I bought the car a few years ago and it appears the AC system was refreshed. Starting with the AC condenser, I currently have a Nissens 94172 which is the OE correct part.

My question is, can this be used with R134, or is this condenser designed for R12?

The tube shape indicates that it's a parallel flow unit for R134 or other modern refrigerants.

Good idea to have the original condenser cleaned up and refurbished?

Depends on condition/budget/what your plans are for the rest of the system. If you won't be cleaning or replacing the evaporator/lines/compressor/etc there's no reason to do the same for the condenser.

I would like to refresh everything eventually but I want to make sure the condenser is not going to fail.
