    Re-attaching sunroof crank handle?

My wife's 89 325i has a manual crank sunroof, but the damn crank won't stay on the little spindle! How can it be permanently re-attached?

No, the handle is still in one peice, I mean I need to find a way to re-attach it to the mounting point in the roof, back onto the spindle that the crank handle turns to actually open the panel.

It's probably broken. It happened to mine too. I thought it just needed to be screwed back in or something, but I instpected it further and I could see where the metal had broken. New ones are hella cheap.
