    Need fuel pump help!

Okay so I've ton a ton of work in the past month to my cars engine.
Basically went through and replaced everything possible without rebuilding the head... seals/gaskets/belts/pipes/etc.
While I was working on this waiting for parts, I also swapped the airbag wheel out of my 90 325 IS and put a non airbag mtech 1 wheel from my 89 parts car on there along with the non airbag check panel.
Tonight I got everything back together and was planning on firing it up but got no response from the fuel pump... did a few quick checks but I can't seem to figure it out.
Does anyone know if swapping the airbag wheel out disables the fuel pump unless you do some wiring trick? Or is it definitely something else?
    Thanks.

Def. something else. Jump out the fuel pump relay and see if it runs. Do you have spark and injection pulse?

Just read a few other posts and read about the interchangable sensor connections under the diagnostic port... went out to the garage, switched them, and got the lovely sound of a running engine.
      thanks for the response though.
