    1989 325i A/C Compressor clutch always energized.

I have a 89 325i that I replaced the compressor, expansion valve, condenser, hoses, o-rings etc for 134a use. I never noticed before because the old compressor was shot and the clutch was toast, but after getting everything installed and charged up the compressor does not turn off. Even with the a/c switch removed and the Evap Temp Regulator switch removed the clutch is engaged. If I remove the unloader relay or the a/c fuse the clutch disengages. Any suggestions?

Download the wiring diagram for you year and model here: http://wedophones.com/Manuals/BMW/

Then start working your way back through the circuit to see where you are getting 12 volts. Is the wiring in the car chopped up by the previous owner? There is not a lot to the circuit.
