hey guys after finishing my b25 swap on my e30 I took it for a rip without refilling my PS fluid. Now my PS is no longer working and Im getting tired of driving without it. I am guessing that I just have to replace the pump. Is this right or do you think the rack might be done to since I didn't have any fluid for the first spin? It used to make a slight noise at full lock but doesn't anymore.

The rack probably didn't suffer damage from running the system with no fluid. It is the pump that usually fails when run dry.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
