I know on most e30's to manuelly crank up the windows if they fail you take the Z shape allen wrench in your toolkit and pop off the circle on your door panel.
But what if you have a facelift model with the newer motors? There isn't a hole on the doorpanels and if you take the panels off there isn't a spot to use an allen wrench. My sister's rear left window will go down but not up. I've heard you can apply direct power to it, but is there any other way?
What if your driving in the middle of the desert and it rolls down but won't go up? is there no hope unless you carry a spare battery with you?
